Who should apply
We are not looking for general translators, freelancers, or content writers. We are looking for the top 1% of experts deeply grounded in Indian sports history, local games, physical culture, and recreational traditions.
You should meet most or all of the following:
Native fluency in Urdu (reading and writing)
Strong command of English (for prompt interpretation and evaluation)
Deep academic, professional, or field expertise in Indian sports, games, and recreation, such as:
- Indian sports history and evolution of physical culture
- Traditional and indigenous games (kabaddi, kho-kho, mallakhamb, etc.)
- Regional sports traditions and community-based physical practices
- Modern Indian sports ecosystem (cricket, athletics, Olympic sports, leagues, etc.)
- Sports sociology, gender, caste, and politics in the Indian context
- Athlete biographies, narratives, and sports journalism
- Coaching, training methodologies, and grassroots sports development
- Recreational cultures, fitness movements, and everyday play practices in India
PhD, MPhil, or Master's degree preferred, or extensive credible experience in the field will also be considered.
Passion for precision, language, and cultural nuance
Comfortable using AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.
Your Role
Craft context-rich prompts in Urdu based on traditional and modern sports, local games, athlete narratives, and regional recreation to challenge AI models
Evaluate model outputs for accuracy, cultural relevance, tone, and regional specificity
Identify blind spots and weaknesses in AI's understanding of India's diverse sporting heritage—from kabaddi and mallakhamb to cricket fandom and regional tournaments
Collaborate with an international team shaping how AI understands Indian languages and the socio-cultural fabric of recreation, games, and physical expression
