KEY OPERATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage the fitness centre's financial operations, including budget preparation, revenue enhancement, and expense control
Oversee and maintain the facility, ensuring peak condition and adherence to safety standards
Develop and implement fitness programmes, including aerobics and specialised offerings
Train and supervise fitness staff in areas such as member management, sales techniques, and exercise instruction
Conduct fitness assessments and develop personalised exercise programmes for members
Lead various exercise classes, including cardiovascular conditioning, strength training, and flexibility sessions
Provide instruction and counselling on exercise prescription, nutrition, and stress management
Develop and coordinate marketing strategies and special events to enhance membership and revenue
Ensure excellent customer service and member satisfaction
Maintain accurate records and inventory of supplies
Collaborate with other departments to maintain positive relationships within the spa and hotel
Conduct staff meetings, performance appraisals, and training sessions
Stay current with industry trends and maintain personal fitness as a role model for members
