Role Overview
The Senior Manager – Chapter Development is responsible for identifying, launching, and supporting new professional chapters globally, and ensuring that established chapters remain active, engaged, and aligned with organizational standards.
This role focuses on chapter formation, onboarding, and ongoing support, working closely with volunteer chapter leaders and internal teams to build a sustainable and well-governed chapter network.

Key Responsibilities

Chapter Formation & Expansion
Identify potential regions and communities suitable for new chapter development.
Engage with prospective chapter founders and guide them through the  application, planning, and onboarding process .
Coordinate documentation and approvals required for chapter establishment.
Maintain and manage a pipeline of prospective chapters and track progress against targets.
Chapter Support & Engagement
Serve as the primary point of contact for chapter leaders and volunteers.
Provide guidance on governance, operations, and best practices for chapter activities.
Monitor chapter activity levels and engagement, and proactively support underperforming chapters.
Encourage collaboration and sharing of best practices across chapters.
Program & Event Coordination
Support chapters in planning professional events, webinars, and community activities.
Provide templates, toolkits, and operational guidance to chapter leaders.
Track chapter events and participation metrics.
Governance & Compliance
Ensure chapters operate in alignment with organizational policies, guidelines, and ethical standards.
Maintain accurate records of chapter leadership, activity, and reporting.
Assist in preparing periodic reports on chapter performance and development.

Qualifications & Experience
Education
Master's degree in Business, Management, Communications, or a related field.
Experience
8–12 years of experience in Chapter Development and formation, community management, program coordination, partnerships, or professional association environments.
Experience working with volunteers, professional groups, or membership organizations is highly desirable.
Experience supporting events, programs, or community initiatives will be an advantage.
Ability to coordinate multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
Experience working in nonprofit, certification, or professional training environments is preferred.
