Role Overview
The Retail Planner will be responsible for end-to-end merchandise and financial planning across stores and channels. The role will translate business targets into effective OTB plans, assortment strategies, and range architecture to drive sales, improve inventory productivity, and protect margins. This role will work closely with Buying, Retail Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance teams.

Key Responsibilities
The role will own OTB planning at a category, store, and channel level, including initial OTB creation, in-season reforecasting, and controlled OTB release based on trading performance, sell-through, stock cover, and inventory health.
The planner will lead assortment planning by defining the right depth and width across categories, price points, and collections. This includes store-wise and channel-wise assortment curation based on store grading, customer profile, and historical performance.
The role will drive range planning in collaboration with buying and design teams, building season-wise range architecture, price ladders, category mix, hero SKU identification, and newness vs carry-forward ratios.
The planner will manage store-level planning, including store grading, option count allocation, replenishment logic, and inventory balancing to optimise ROS, stock turn, and weeks of stock.
The role will track in-season performance through weekly and monthly reviews, identifying risks and opportunities and recommending actions such as stock rebalancing, inter-store transfers, markdown planning, or OTB reallocation.
The planner will partner with Finance on budgeting, forecasting, and margin planning and support leadership with MIS, dashboards, and actionable insights.

Ideal Candidate Profile
4–8 years of experience in retail or merchandise planning within fashion, jewellery, beauty, or premium lifestyle brands.
Hands-on experience in OTB planning, assortment planning, and range planning in a multi-store environment.
Strong analytical and Excel skills; exposure to retail planning tools or ERP systems is a plus.
Experience in luxury or high-ticket categories will be preferred.
Ability to work cross-functionally and influence buying and retail teams using data-led insights.
