FICCI Research & Analysis Centre (FRAC) was conceptualised and started to provide analytical services to all the industries; undertake research and development for quality improvement; help in providing quality to the consumers and raising the general standards of purity particularly in the small-scale sector. FRAC is dedicated exclusively to analysis and research following ISO/ IEC 17025:2005 International Standards. Certified quality assurance and control programme ensures that Test Results remain consistent across samples.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in New Delhi for the Officer-in-Charge (OIC) of the Instrumentation Lab. The OIC will manage the day-to-day operations of the laboratory, including the testing, calibration, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of laboratory instruments. The role demands ensuring compliance with laboratory standards, monitoring process controls, and handling technical challenges to ensure optimal efficiency of the lab equipment and processes.
Qualifications
7-10 yrs experience in food testing with LCMS-MS, HPLC, ICP-MS, and GCMS (NABL-accredited lab)
Skilled in handling team, sample handling, testing, troubleshooting & reporting
Ensuring compliance with lab safety and regulatory standards
Experience in method Verification & Validation as per regulatory requirements
Exposure to NABL, EIC, Apeda & FSSAI audits
Masters in relevant field
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Hands-on experience in Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues efficiently
Strong knowledge of Instrumentation and equipment management within a laboratory setting
Skills in Calibration and maintaining accuracy of laboratory instruments
Experience in implementing and managing Preventive Maintenance routines to improve system reliability
Familiarity with industry standards such as NABL, ISO, and FSSAI guidelines is highly desirable
