ERP Consultant – Meat / Protein Processing Industry

Overview
We are looking for experienced ERP Consultants with expertise in ERP platforms designed for meat and protein production environments. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in implementing, customizing, or supporting ERP solutions used in food manufacturing, meat processing, or protein production operations.
This role involves evaluating and demonstrating ERP platforms that can efficiently manage production, inventory, traceability, and financial operations within a butchery and protein production environment with approximately 10–20 users.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate and demonstrate ERP platforms suited for meat and protein processing operations.
Support workflows related to production and cutting processes.
Implement systems for yield tracking from primal cuts to finished products.
Manage catch weight inventory and product tracking.
Ensure lot and batch traceability across production and distribution.
Configure barcode scanning and warehouse management systems.
Maintain clean and structured product and inventory data management.
Enable modern B2B ordering systems with online payment capabilities.
Integrate ERP platforms with accounting and general ledger systems.
Conduct product demonstrations and technical discussions with stakeholders.
Preferred ERP Platforms / Experience
Experience with ERP systems tailored for the meat processing industry such as:
Vista Trac
Minotaur ERP
Opto Meat
Emydex
Or other meat-focused ERP platforms
Required Skills
Strong understanding of ERP implementation and configuration
Experience in food manufacturing / meat processing workflows
Knowledge of inventory management, traceability, and supply chain operations
Familiarity with barcode systems, warehouse management, and batch tracking
Ability to conduct ERP demos and consult on suitable solutions
