5 to 8 years of experience in food manufacturing with direct involvement in greenfieldplantsetup and line commissioning.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a technically sound and execution-oriented

Plant

Managerto lead the full setup and operationalization of our greenfield ORS (Oral Rehydration Salts) manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in end to-endplantestablishment, including manufacturing line design, utility integration, and cross-functional coordination assuring readiness for commercial production, regulatory audits, and sustained operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the entireplantsetup lifecycle, including infrastructure readiness, equipment installation, utility commissioning, and trial production runs.

Define and implement manufacturing workflows, SOPs, and cross-functional processes to align production with food safety and quality requirements.

Oversee the installation, validation, and commissioning of processing and packaging lines specific to ORS production.

Coordinate with engineering, QA, HR, and procurement teams to ensure operational readiness for commercial launch

Ensure full regulatory compliance with FSSAI, GMP, HACCP, and ISO 22000 throughout setup and post-go-live operations.

Monitorplantperformance metrics - uptime, OEE, throughput, manpower productivity - and take corrective actions.

Drive a culture of safety, preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement.

Hire, train, and develop high-performingplantteams aligned with greenfield scale-up needs.

Skills &

Competencies:

Proven ability to manage cross-functionalplantsetup projects and stabilize early-stage production.

Strong knowledge of ORS formulation processes, GMP norms, utility integration, and production planning.

Data-driven leadership style with strong problem-solving and cross-functional communication skills.

Preferred Background:
Prior experience in establishing or scaling up food or pharmaceuticalplants from ground zero.

Exposure to FSSAI audits and global certifications (ISO, BRC, USFDA) in regulated product environments.

Working Conditions:

Full-time, on-site leadership role at Bhopalplant.

Requires active involvement during setup, validation, and initial production phases.
