Qualification:

Bachelor's or Diploma in Food Technology, Mechanical, or Production

Engineering.

Experience:

5 to 8 years of experience in manufacturing operations within a food, nutraceutical, or pharmaceutical environment, preferably with greenfield project exposure.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a hands-on and process-focused Manufacturing Operations Specialist to play a key role in the setup and day-to-day execution ofproductionlines at our greenfield ORS (Oral Rehydration Salts) manufacturing facility. The candidate will be responsible for establishing baseline operational processes, and ensuring that output consistently meets quality, safety, and regulatory standards from day one.

Key Responsibilities:

Actively participate in commissioning and validation of the manufacturing line - from equipment trials to readiness for commercialproduction.
Define and standardize start-up/shutdown protocols, line balancing, changeover processes, and shift-wise task assignments.

Monitor dailyproductionoutput and ensure alignment with SOPs, batch records, and quality benchmarks.

Track performance indicators such as OEE, yield, line downtime, and rejections to support continuous improvement.

Support the creation of operational SOPs and collaborate with QA to embed food safety controls in theproductionflow.

Train & guide, line operators on new systems, hygiene practices, and safe machine operations in a cleanroom adjacent environment.

Work closely with maintenance and quality teams to troubleshoot equipment or compliance issues during scale up.

Drive adherence to FSSAI, GMP, and internal safety standards during each stage of production.

Skills &

Competencies:

Solid understanding of ORS manufacturing line dynamics, cleanroom hygiene, and food safety protocols.

Strong working knowledge of mixers, liquid batchers, conveyors, filling/sealing systems, and packaging lines

Analytical mindset with a hands-on approach to line optimization and shift execution.

Preferred Background:
Prior experience in setting up or operating semi-automated or fully automated foodproductionlines, especially liquid-based formulations like ORS or beverages.

Working Conditions:

Full-time, on-site role at Bhopal plant. . Active engagement required during commissioning, shift operations, and initial performance ramp-up.
