About the Role  We are seeking a highly skilled and technical  Line Stitching Supervisor  to join our production team. You will be responsible for overseeing high-efficiency stitching lines specialized in  knitted garments , ensuring that every piece meets the rigorous standards required for our  European and Global markets .
The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of global production norms, a keen eye for quality control, and the technical leadership necessary to drive a high-performance floor.
Key

Roles & Responsibilities  Production & Line Management   Directly oversee stitching lines for knitted products (sleepsuits, rompers, and quilted wear), ensuring daily production targets are met without compromising quality.
Manage line balancing and manpower allocation to optimize efficiency and reduce bottlenecking during complex operations like quilting or zip insertion.
Ensure the technical execution of stitches meets the specific requirements for  Product Class 1 (Babywear) , including safety and durability standards.
Quality Control & Global Compliance   Enforce  European and Global Quality Norms  throughout the stitching process to ensure 'zero-defect' output for export.
Maintain a thorough understanding of chemical compliance, ensuring all components and processes align with  OEKO-TEX Standard 100  requirements for infants.
Monitor pH levels, formaldehyde-free environments, and heavy metal restrictions within the production zone as per  Appendix 4  regulations.
Technical Leadership   Provide on-floor technical guidance to operators regarding machine settings, needle types, and thread tension for diverse knitted fabrics (Jersey, Interlock, and Rib).
Troubleshoot stitching issues immediately to minimize rework and fabric wastage.
Collaborate with the sampling and cutting departments to ensure a smooth transition from design to bulk production.
Candidate Requirements

Experience:

Minimum  3–5 years  of hands-on experience in a supervisor role within a  knitted garment  manufacturing facility.
Knowledge:  Strong understanding of  European and Global production standards , specifically for baby and kids' categories.
Technical Edge:  Advanced technical knowledge of stitching machinery and knitted fabric behavior is a significant advantage.
Compliance Awareness:  Familiarity with  OEKO-TEX Class 1  parameters and restricted substance lists (RSL).
