Designation Experience Required Assistant Manager – Legal 3–4 Years PQE Deputy Manager – Legal 5–6 Years PQE
Key Experience Areas
Content Production:
Production and co-production agreements.
Platform Deals: OTT platform agreements and commissioning contracts.
Talent & Branding:
Brand, endorsement, and talent/artist agreements.
Licensing:
Media and content licensing and allied commercial contracts.
Key Responsibilities
Contract Lifecycle:
Draft, review, and negotiate a high volume of media-specific contracts.
Rights Management:
Advising internal teams on rights acquisition and intellectual property management.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Working as a bridge between the legal, creative, and production teams to ensure projects stay on track without legal bottlenecks.
Risk Mitigation:
Assessing contractual risks and ensuring alignment with commercial objectives.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Strong hands-on experience in Media & Entertainment law (Law firm or In-house).
Commercially sound mindset with the ability to understand creative production needs.
Excellent negotiation skills for high-stakes talent and platform deals.
