To prepare draft replies, applications, evidences, affidavits, writ petitions related to consumer matters and other litigation
To efficiently handle and regularly update the management on the status of various litigations pending at various fora/courts/tribunals
To advise, appear and represent the company in various litigation
Coordinate with lawyers and internal stakeholders/functions for preparing replies/submissions and follow up with lawyers/consultants for managing end-to-end litigations filed for and against the company
Advise business team on the day-to-day queries related to handling legal notices, litigation, other legal issues
To conduct or coordinate research on legal issues and update stakeholders on new judgements/laws
Visit regional/zonal offices to coordinate with the service team
Competency:
Professional ability to interpret laws and find solutions to complex legal issues and handle litigations
Ability to work well in a high-pressure environment and within very tight timelines
Must be a highly motivated self-starter and able to function independently in a hands-on environment
Should have excellent analytical, execution skills and practical experience of handling litigation before various forums
Should also have very good drafting and vetting skills and possess excellent communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
