Position: Hiring Bengali Literature & Linguistics Experts for AI Training

Who should apply
We are not looking for general translators, freelancers, or content writers. We are looking for the top 1% of literary and linguistic experts deeply grounded in the Bengali language and its intellectual traditions.

You should meet most or all of the following:
Native fluency in Bengali (reading and writing)
Strong command of English (for prompt interpretation and evaluation)
Deep academic, research, or intellectual expertise in Bengali literature and/or linguistics, such as:
Classical and modern Bengali literature (Tagore, Bankimchandra, Jibanananda Das, contemporary authors)
Literary movements such as the Bengal Renaissance, modernism, and postcolonial writing
Bengali poetry, fiction, drama, and essay traditions
Linguistics of Bengali (syntax, semantics, sociolinguistics, dialects)
Oral traditions, folklore, and cultural storytelling practices
PhD, MPhil, or Master's degree preferred, but credible and extensive experience in the field will also be considered
Passion for linguistic precision, literary depth, and cultural nuance
Comfortable using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.

Your Role
Design advanced, culturally rich prompts in Bengali that challenge state-of-the-art AI models
Evaluate AI outputs for literary nuance, linguistic accuracy, tone, and regional relevance
Identify blind spots where AI misrepresents cultural context, literary traditions, or linguistic subtleties
Contribute examples rooted in Bengali literature, history, media, and lived cultural experience
Collaborate with an international expert network shaping how AI understands Indian languages and knowledge systems
