About Agent Shop
We're building the infrastructure that helps DTC brands win the AI product shelf. As consumers shift from Google to ChatGPT/Gemini/Perplexity for product discovery, we're ensuring brands don't get left behind. We're pre-launch with early traction, headquartered in San Francisco, and building our founding team here.
The Role
You'll own all things growth from day one. No team, no budget initially—just you, your creativity, and an unfair advantage in a massive market shift. This is a founding team role with significant equity upside and pathway to VP Marketing.
You'll be successful if you can:
Build a global waitlist from 0 to 500 qualified mid-market DTC brands in 90 days
Generate 50+ demo bookings without paid acquisition
Establish Agent Shop as the thought leader in "AI commerce" from India
What You'll Do
Week 1-4:
Foundation
Optimize our web presence for conversion (landing pages, Linked In, Calendly)
Create and execute a content-led growth strategy across Linked In and Twitter/X (global DTC audience)
Build direct relationships with US/EU DTC founders, CMOs, and agency owners
Design and ship a "lead magnet" that drives qualified signups
Month 2-3:
Scale
Launch and grow "The AI Shelf" newsletter to 1,000+ subscribers
Secure podcast guest spots, partnerships, and co-marketing opportunities
Host weekly Linked In Live/AMA sessions to build authority
Convert waitlist to demos to paid founding members
Ongoing:
Own all growth metrics (CAC, LTV, payback period by channel)
Test and validate new channels (community, partnerships, events)
Build the marketing playbook and team from Bengaluru
Who You Are
Must-Haves:
3+ years growth marketing at a B2B SaaS or global DTC brand (early-stage preferred)
Proven track record building from zero: you've grown something from scratch before
Active, engaged presence on Linked In or Twitter with demonstrated content performance
Exceptional written English— you can write copy that converts for US/EU audiences
Comfortable working US/EU hours for customer calls (flexible schedule)
Scrappy operator: you ship fast, measure everything, optimize relentlessly
Deep understanding of global DTC/ecommerce ecosystem
Nice-to-Haves:
Experience working with international/global markets from India
Previous startup or "founding team" experience
Video/content creation skills (Loom, basic editing)
Network in global DTC communities (Twitter, Linked In, Slack groups)
Mindset:
You'd rather post 5 times and get 3 signups than spend a week on a "perfect" campaign
You believe the best growth comes from genuine relationships, not hacks
You're energized by ambiguity, ownership, and building for global markets from India
Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: ₹8–12 LPA (depending on experience + equity split preference)
Equity: 0.3%–0.8% (ESOPs, 4-year vest, 1-year cliff)
Performance Bonus: Up to 20% of base on hitting 90-day milestones
Benefits:
Annual learning budget: ₹1,00,000
Relocation to US post Series A
ESOP buyback program after Series A
Why this comp structure:
We're early. We prioritize equity upside over cash. If you want maximum salary, this isn't the role. If you want to build something massive and participate in the upside, it is.

Base: Remote
Schedule:
Core hours 3 PM – 12 PM IST (overlap with US morning)
Travel: Optional annual team offsites, potential US trip post-Series A
Team: Small founding team, flat hierarchy, zero bureaucracy
