Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) with strong expertise in AWS
RDS (Postgre
SQL) and Snowflake. The ideal candidate will be responsible for database
performance optimization, backup and recovery, monitoring, and ensuring high availability,
security, and reliability of database systems.

* Strong hands-on experience with AWS RDS (Postgre
SQL).
* Proven expertise in Postgre
SQL performance tuning, backup, and recovery.
* Hands-on experience with Snowflake administration and optimization.
* Good understanding of AWS services, monitoring tools, and security best practices.
* Experience in troubleshooting production database issues.
* Knowledge of capacity planning and database scalability.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage, monitor, and maintain AWS RDS Postgre
SQL databases.
* Perform database performance tuning and optimization to ensure optimal system
efficiency.
* Plan and execute database backups, restores, and disaster recovery strategies.
* Handle database migration, upgrades, and patching activities.
* Monitor database health, identify issues, and perform root cause analysis.
* Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of database environments.
* Manage and optimize Snowflake data warehouse, including:
o Performance tuning and cost optimization
o Data loading, storage management, and query optimization
* Implement best practices for data governance, access control, and compliance.
* Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and data teams to support business
requirements.
* Maintain documentation related to database architecture, processes, and
procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
* AWS or Snowflake certifications.
* Experience with database automation and scripting.
* Exposure to high-volume or mission-critical production environments
