Job Description (JD)
We are looking for a hands-on Manual QA Lead experienced in testing POS systems, self-service Kiosks, and KDS (Kitchen Display Systems). You will validate integrated hardware/software experiences in fast-paced retail or hospitality environments. This role also requires experience with CMS sanity testing, preferably using platforms like Sanity.io.
The QA will own test case creation, execution, and coordination with product, field, and engineering teams to drive high-quality deployments.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct end-to-end manual testing for POS, Kiosk, and KDS systems in retail environments.
Perform CMS sanity testing and pre-release validation.
Validate functionality across hardware and software layers (peripherals, displays, printers, etc.).
Create and maintain detailed test plans, execute test cases, and log defects.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for triage and resolution.
Requirements:
5+ years in manual QA, with strong experience in POS/Kiosk/KDS domains.
Knowledge of CMS platforms (Sanity CMS preferred).
Familiarity with retail hardware testing environments.
Strong documentation and defect-reporting skills.
