About the Role
We are looking for a skilled  Platform Administrator (Salesforce & Precursive)  to own the design, configuration, and maintenance of our core operational platforms— Salesforce (Sales & Service Cloud)  and  Precursive , our onboarding management tool.
This role plays a critical part in ensuring a seamless, efficient, and well-tracked  Google Cloud Marketplace Onboarding lifecycle .
Salesforce & Precursive Integration
Within the Google Cloud Marketplace team,  Precursive  is used inside the  Orbitera Salesforce instance  to manage partner onboarding and solution validation. Precursive integrates natively with Salesforce and operates through  Precursive Boards  (Kanban-style workflows) to track partner lifecycle stages.
What You’ll Do
Act as the  intake lead  for platform enhancement requests; evaluate, prioritize, and translate business needs into technical requirements
Perform  advanced Salesforce configuration , including security, permissions, custom objects, and fields
Develop solutions using  Apex (classes, triggers)  and  Lightning Web Components (LWC)  when declarative tools are insufficient
Manage  deep-level maintenance and customization  of Precursive, including:
Resource forecasting
Project planning templates
Milestone and lifecycle tracking
Own  testing and QA  in sandbox environments to ensure stability and integration integrity
Manage  deployments to production  with minimal downtime
Build and maintain  complex Salesforce and Precursive reports
Serve as the  primary support contact  for system issues and user enablement
Must-Haves
3+ years of experience as a  Salesforce Administrator or Developer
Strong hands-on experience with:
Apex (classes, triggers)
Lightning Web Components (LWC)
Expert-level knowledge of:
Salesforce  security model
Permissions
Advanced Flow Builder automation
Proven experience with  Precursive (PSX/PSA)  maintenance and customization
Experience managing the  Build → Test → Deploy  lifecycle
Ability to work in the  EST timezone
