Role Overview :
This role leads supplier integration for M&A transactions, ensuring newly acquired suppliers are onboarded efficiently, compliantly, and combines procurement expertise, process design, analytics, and AI-enabled automation to reduce integration cycle time, mitigate risk, and improve stakeholder experience.
This is a transformation-driven operational excellence role — not a transactional buying position.
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience in Procurement, Supplier Management, Operations, or M&A integration
Advanced Excel skills (data analysis, pivots)
SAP/Ariba or ERP experience
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior M&A integration experience
Exposure to supplier privacy/security classifications
Experience with automation tools and AI workflows
Responsibilities
1️⃣ M&A Supplier Integration
Lead end-to-end supplier onboarding post-acquisition.
Analyze supplier portfolios (spend, contracts, risk, payment methods, privacy impact).
Partner with Legal, Finance, Sourcing, Security, and acquired company stakeholders.
Ensure policy, compliance, and governance standards are implemented.
Proactively identify and resolve integration blockers.
2️⃣ Digital & AI Enablement
Use SAP/Ariba, Excel, Smartsheet, and dashboards for data-driven decisions.
Leverage AI and automation tools to reduce manual effort and improve reporting.
Digitize workflows and standardize integration playbooks.
Support system improvements and UAT initiatives.
3️⃣ Process Improvement & Governance
Redesign supplier integration workflows for scalability.
Track KPIs (cycle time, manual touchpoints, compliance).
Evaluate exceptions and recommend policy improvements.
Conduct post-integration reviews to drive continuous improvement.
4️⃣ Stakeholder & Operational Support
Communicate structured, data-backed updates to leadership.
Manage multiple parallel M&A work streams.
Support procurement operations during peak periods.
