Azure System Administrator

Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Azure System Administrator with 2–4 years of hands-on experience in
managing, monitoring, and supporting Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will
be responsible for ensuring high availability, security, and performance of Azure resources while
supporting ongoing cloud operations and deployments.

Key Responsibilities
Administer and maintain Azure infrastructure including Virtual Machines, Storage Accounts, VNets,
NSGs, and Load Balancers
Monitor system performance, availability, and security using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Alerts
Manage Azure Active Directory (AAD) users, groups, roles, and RBAC permissions
Perform backup and disaster recovery using Azure Backup and Azure Site Recovery
Handle patching, upgrades, and routine maintenance of Azure resources
Troubleshoot Azure infrastructure issues and provide root cause analysis
Support deployments and configurations using ARM templates / Bicep / basic Terraform (good to
have)
Implement and maintain security best practices (NSGs, IAM, MFA, policies)
Coordinate with application, network, and security teams for issue resolution
Maintain documentation for infrastructure, procedures, and configurations

Skills & Qualifications
2–4 years of experience as an Azure System / Cloud Administrator

Strong knowledge of:
Azure Virtual Machines (Windows & Linux)
Azure Networking (VNets, Subnets, VPN, NSG, DNS)
Azure Storage (Blob, File, Disk)
Azure Active Directory & RBAC
Hands-on experience with Azure Backup & Recovery
Familiarity with Power Shell / Azure CLI

Experience with monitoring and logging tools in Azure
Basic understanding of cloud security concepts
Good troubleshooting and communication skills

Good to Have (Preferred Skills)

Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure Dev Ops, Git Hub Actions)
Exposure to Terraform or Infrastructure as Code
Knowledge of Azure App Services, SQL, or PaaS services
Azure certifications (AZ-104 preferred)
