We are looking for a Data Scientist with 3+ years of hands-on experience in building data-driven solutions and a strong foundation in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP). The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze data, build predictive models, and translate complex data insights into actionable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, implement, and deploy machine learning and statistical models to solve business problems
• Perform data exploration, feature engineering, and data preprocessing on structured and unstructured datasets
• Write clean, modular, and scalable code using Object-Oriented Programming principles
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to define data requirements and success metrics
• Build and maintain data pipelines and model workflows
• Evaluate model performance and continuously improve accuracy and efficiency
• Communicate insights, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
• Document models, code, and processes for knowledge sharing and reproducibility
Mandatory
Skills & Qualifications
• 3+ years of professional experience in Data Science or related roles
• Strong experience in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) using Python / Java / C++ (Python preferred)
• Hands-on experience with machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and data analysis
• Proficiency in Python and common data science libraries (Num Py, Pandas, Scikit-learn, etc.)
• Experience with SQL and working with large datasets
• Understanding of software engineering best practices, version control (Git), and code reviews
Good to Have
• Experience with deep learning frameworks (Tensor Flow, PyTorch)
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Experience deploying models using APIs or MLOps tools
• Knowledge of big data tools (Spark, Hadoop)
• Experience in agile or fast-paced environments
Education
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
