Data Engineer

Role Overview
We are looking for a  Data Engineer  who can design, build, and maintain  scalable, cloud-based data architecture , with a strong preference for  AWS .

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in  developing data pipelines, working with large datasets, and executing data migration projects  from on-prem or other cloud platforms to AWS.

This role works closely with  data analysts, data scientists, and product teams  to ensure reliable, high-quality data availability for analytics and business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain  cloud-based data architecture,  primarily on  AWS
Build and optimize  ETL/ELT pipelines  for structured and unstructured data
Execute  data migration projects  (on-prem → AWS or GCP/Azure → AWS)
Manage data ingestion from multiple sources (APIs, databases, third-party tools)
Ensure data quality, reliability, security, and performance
Optimize data storage, partitioning, and query performance
Work with analytics and product teams to support reporting and insights
Monitor pipelines and troubleshoot data issues proactively
Document data models, pipelines, and architecture decisions

Required Skills & Experience
3–6 years of experience as a  Data Engineer  or similar role
Strong hands-on experience with  AWS cloud services  (preferred over GCP/Azure)
Experience building  cloud-native data architectures
Proven experience in  data migration projects
Strong SQL skills and experience with relational & No

SQL databases

Experience with data warehousing solutions (e.g., Redshift, Big Query, Snowflake)
Hands-on experience with ETL tools or frameworks (Airflow, Glue, DBT, etc.)
Proficiency in Python or similar programming languages
Understanding of data security, access controls, and best practices
