Job Summary
We are looking for a Lead Data Engineer with strong experience in Azure Data Platform to design, build, and manage scalable data solutions. The ideal candidate will lead data engineering initiatives, mentor team members, and work closely with stakeholders to deliver high‑quality data pipelines and analytics solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop end‑to‑end data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF)
Work with Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) for data storage and management
Build and optimize data processing solutions using Azure Databricks
Experience with HDInsight for big data processing
Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines using Azure Application Insights
Ensure data quality, performance, and security best practices
Lead and mentor junior data engineers
Collaborate with business, analytics, and Dev Ops teams
Required Skills & Experience
8+ years of experience in Data Engineering
Strong hands‑on experience with Azure cloud services
Expertise in:
Azure Data Factory (ADF)
Azure Data Lake (ADLS)
Azure Databricks
HDInsight
Application Insights
Strong SQL and data modeling skills
Experience with large‑scale data processing and performance tuning
Good communication and leadership skills
Good to Have
Experience with CI/CD in Azure
Knowledge of Python / Scala
Exposure to Power BI or other reporting tools.
