Work Timings:  4:00 PM – 1:00 AM IST (Mandatory)
⏳  Experience : 7+ Years in Data Engineering
Notice Period:  Immediate Joiners or up to 15 days preferred

Role Overview :
We are looking for an experienced Senior Python Data Engineer for our client to drive requirements gathering, technical design, and solutioning for complex data and risk initiatives. You’ll collaborate closely with ERM Quant, Capital & Investment Risk teams to build, optimize, and maintain scalable data and risk modeling platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement robust data engineering solutions

• Guide architecture decisions (servers, data repositories, reporting tools)

• Build and enhance risk model development platforms

• Select and optimize tools (Python vs SQL) for quantitative modeling

• Develop, test, migrate, and document solutions end-to-end

• Collaborate with business users, developers, and modelers

• Drive process improvements and ensure SDLC adherence

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Python & SQL (production-grade development)

• 3+ years working with big data / financial instruments (bonds, derivatives)

• 2+ years with investment analytics tools or vendor platforms, experience with Vertica.

• Strong RDBMS & No

SQL knowledge

• Hands-on with ETL, data pipelines, APIs, CI/CD, performance & security

• Degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering or related field
