IT Desktop Engineer; Banking domain

Position: IT Desktop Engineer (Banking domain)
Key Responsibilities
Provide advanced technical support for end users, including laptops, desktops, Chromebooks, and mobile devices.
Support Black Berry mobile users by managing device configuration, activation, and issue resolution.
Troubleshoot, maintain, and support peripherals such as printers, scanners, and banking devices, including Cash Pro equipment.
Perform application support and resolve software-related issues across enterprise systems.
Manage data center activities, including physical hardware checks, cabling, server support, and hands-on operational tasks as required.
Handle ITSM tickets using tools such as Service Now or Remedy, ensuring timely resolution and strict SLA compliance.
Collaborate with global IT teams through MS Teams, Webex, and Skype for Business.
Maintain accurate IT asset management and inventory records in line with audit and compliance requirements.
Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for hardware replacements, upgrades, and technical escalations.
Deliver high-quality customer service to business users and senior executives within a high-security banking environment.

Required

Skills & Qualifications
Strong experience in end-user computing and enterprise support environments.
Hands-on experience with Black Berry device support.
Experience supporting peripherals and banking devices.
Familiarity with ITSM tools such as Service Now or Remedy.
Basic knowledge of data center operations and server hardware.
Excellent communication, documentation, and customer service skills
