Freelance / Long-Term Contract

Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP Data Ops resource to support data corrections, data migration activities, and interface stabilisation between SAP and Conga within a complex commercial systems landscape. This is a long-term freelance contract role, and pharmaceutical / life sciences project experience is highly preferred. The consultant will play a key role across mock data loads, end-to-end testing, dress rehearsals, and deployment preparation.

Key Responsibilities

Data Corrections & Data Quality

- Correct product hierarchies for manually loaded third-party products lacking valid hierarchies
- Perform data re-push activities following system refreshes to synchronise corrected data and current-wave affiliate data between source and target systems

Data Loading & Migration

- Support data loading from SAP to Conga via interfaces for:
- Mock Data Load 1
- Mock Data Load 2
- Deployment End-to-End Testing
- Dress Rehearsal
- Execute manual data reloads and validation (e.g. post-migration) for:
- Products
- Price List Items
- Accounts

Interface Stabilisation

- Analyse and fix interface bugs related to Products, Accounts, and Price List Items
- Contribute to development of small enhancements / new interface features
- Work closely with Mulesoft, Commercial Database, and Conga teams to prepare interfaces for production readiness
- Facilitate troubleshooting calls, gather technical information, share API details, and raise/manage Jira tickets through to resolution

Data Validation & Testing Support

- Perform Super Company data validations and facilitate automated execution
- Provide ad-hoc testing support by supplying data and assisting Mulesoft, Commercial Database, and Conga teams with their testing scenarios

Required Skills & Experience

- Strong experience in SAP data management / data migration
- Solid understanding of SAP master data (Products, Customers/Accounts, Pricing / Price Lists)
- Hands-on experience with system integrations and middleware (Mulesoft preferred)
- Experience supporting SAP → downstream commercial systems integrations (Conga / CPQ highly desirable)
- Experience supporting mock loads, dress rehearsals, and cutover activities
- Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills
- Experience working with Jira or similar ticketing tools
- Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills

- Pharmaceutical / Life Sciences project experience
- S/4

HANA experience
- CPQ or commercial systems integration background
- Experience working in global / multi-affiliate programmes
