Role Overview
We are looking for a Junior Technical Coordinator to support the deployment of networking devices and cabling infrastructure in EMEA & APAC region. This role is coordination focused, with responsibilities in documentation, inventory tracking, and logistics handling, while requiring a basic understanding of networking hardware and cabling standards. The coordinator will work closely with engineers, logistics teams, and customers to ensure smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities
Coordination & Support Coordination & Support
- Assist in planning and coordinating deployment activities for networking devices (switches, routers, access points).
- Provide support to engineers during fiber and copper cabling works (patching, labeling, site readiness).
- Coordinate with vendors, logistics partners, and customers for deliveries and scheduling.
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare and maintain project documents such as:
- Asset lists and serial number records
- Delivery Orders (DO)
- Maintain updated project trackers and share status reports with stakeholders.
Inventory & Asset Tracking
- Maintain records of received and dispatched hardware.
- Assist in asset list preparation and reconciliation after deployment.
Logistics & Delivery Handling
- Support preparation of shipment documents and DOs.
- Track shipments and coordinate site access with customers.
- Follow up on inbound and outbound shipments, including returns (RMA/DOA).
Customer Coordination
- Share delivery details, shipment status, and documentation with customers.
- Coordinate with client teams for site readiness and access.
- Provide timely updates on project progress.
Qualifications and Skills
- Min Diploma in IT, Networking, Telecommunications, or related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in technical coordination, logistics, or IT deployment support.
- Basic knowledge of:
Networking hardware (routers, switches, access points).
Fiber optic and copper cabling concepts.
- Good documentation and organisational skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work with multiple teams (technical, logistics, and customer facing).
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to IT/network deployment projects (internship or academic projects acceptable).
- Familiarity with inventory tracking and asset management.
- Willingness to learn and grow in networking and infrastructure coordination.
