We work with D2C and B2C brands to build scalable growth systems on Shopify, balancing customer experience, business economics, and long-term impact.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a CRO & Growth Strategy Lead to own conversion growth outcomes for Shopify-led businesses. This role is responsible for defining the CRO direction—deciding what to test, why it matters, and when it should be tested.

You will work closely with Shopify engineers and analytics specialists, but your core responsibility is judgment: translating business goals into focused, high-impact CRO priorities.

This role is ideal for someone who understands that the biggest CRO wins come not from tools, but from clarity, prioritization, and restraint.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead CRO strategy for Shopify-based D2C and B2C brands
- Define and own the testing roadmap, including prioritization and sequencing
- Translate business objectives (CVR, AOV, LTV, margins) into clear, testable hypotheses
- Analyze user behavior using:
- Heatmaps
- Session recordings
- Funnel and drop-off analysis
- On-site qualitative signals (reviews, support feedback, UX friction points)
- Identify and articulate key friction points across the customer journey
- Make informed decisions on what not to test, ensuring focus and efficiency
- Collaborate with engineering and analytics teams to ensure strategies are executed and measured correctly
- Communicate insights, learnings, and recommendations clearly to internal teams and clients

You’ll Excel in This Role If You:

- Have a strong grasp of conversion psychology and user decision-making
- Are deeply familiar with Shopify UX patterns and D2C customer journeys
- Understand Shopify checkout constraints (Basic vs Plus) and how they impact CRO strategy
- Think commercially, balancing growth with margins, discounting, and AOV trade-offs
- Are comfortable making—and defending—prioritization decisions
- Prefer fewer, better experiments over high-volume testing
- Can connect customer behavior to business outcomes, not just metrics

Tools & Inputs You’ll Work With

- Shopify (D2C/B2C stores)
- Behavioral tools (heatmaps, session recordings)
- GA4 and funnel analytics (in collaboration with analytics engineers)
- A/B testing platforms (through execution teams)
- CRO prioritization and experimentation frameworks
