Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Manual QA Engineer with strong expertise in JSON based systems and Banking/Fintech platforms. The role focuses on validating complex backend workflows, payment systems, and data-intensive applications. The ideal candidate should be highly skilled in analyzing structured logs, identifying discrepancies quickly, and ensuring reliability across mission-critical systems.
This is a remote role supporting EST working hours and requires immediate availability.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform manual testing of backend systems, APIs, workflows, and data pipelines
- Read, analyze, and validate structured logs (JSON traces, state differences, tool logs)
- Identify mismatches, data inconsistencies, and workflow failures efficiently
- Validate payment flows, transaction processing, fraud checks, and system reliability
- Collaborate with developers, automation engineers, and product teams to resolve defects
- Support QA activities for conversational systems, workflow engines, and support tools
- Document test cases, defects, and test results clearly and accurately
Required Skills & Experience
- 4–6 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing
- Strong hands-on experience with JSON-based logs and backend validations
- 1–2 years of exposure to automation testing (any framework)
- Proven experience in Banking, Payments, or Fintech domains
- Experience testing complex systems, data-heavy platforms, or high-reliability systems
- Strong analytical and reasoning skills with high attention to detail
- Experience in one or more of the following QA areas:
Payments / Fintech QA, Fraud Operations QA, Data QA, Workflow Automation QA, Platform or Systems QA
Preferred Background
- Prior roles such as AI QA Engineer, Backend QA Engineer, Platform QA Engineer, or Systems QA Engineer
- Experience validating conversational systems or intelligent workflows
- Familiarity with API testing tools and log inspection utilities
Work Details
- Shift: EST hours (Login between 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM IST)
