Position: QA Engineer – Playwright (Automation)
Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Playwright and Type Script to test modern frontend applications. The role focuses on functional automation, UI validation, and ensuring reliability across complex web systems.

The ideal candidate has deep experience writing automation frameworks, evaluating test coverage, identifying edge cases, and validating business workflows.

This is a remote role requiring immediate availability and comfort working in EST hours.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and execute automation test scripts using Playwright
- Perform functional and UI testing for frontend applications
- Validate component behavior and UI interactions in React-based systems
- Analyze JSON files and structured outputs to detect issues
- Evaluate test coverage and proactively identify edge cases
- Convert requirements into comprehensive automation scenarios
- Collaborate with developers to resolve defects quickly
- Maintain high-quality automation frameworks and test reliability
- Document defects and testing outcomes clearly

Required Skills & Experience

- 4–6 years of QA / Automation testing experience
- Strong expertise in Playwright automation framework
- Hands-on experience with Type Script
- Solid understanding of React applications and frontend architecture
- Experience in functional testing and UI testing
- Comfort reading and validating JSON data
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to design structured test strategies

Preferred Background

- Experience building scalable automation frameworks
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines
- Experience testing complex frontend workflows
- Familiarity with modern testing best practices

Work Details

- Shift: EST hours (Login between 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM IST)
