SAP ABAP EWM developer

Vegah LLC is seeking a highly skilled and forward-thinking SAP ABAP EWM Consultant (with TM expertise as a strong plus) to join our global delivery team.  This role requires a minimum of 5+ years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience, with strong expertise in Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) and exposure to Transportation Management (TM). We are looking for a consultant who is not only technically strong but also passionate about innovation, eager to explore advancements such as AI/ML, intelligent automation, and next-gen SAP technologies.

Key Responsibilities
Design and implement RICEFW objects within S/4

HANA 2020 decentralized EWM systems
Deliver high-quality EWM-specific solutions including:
RF programming and label printing
qRFC integrations and monitoring
Post Processing Framework (PPF) enhancements
Warehouse Monitor customizations
Adobe Forms development
Build ABAP on HANA solutions leveraging BADIs, enhancements, proxy classes, OO ABAP, oData, and CDS views
Ensure seamless integration between ECC and EWM systems for both master and transactional data
Develop and support ABAP objects across core ECC modules (SD, MM, FI)
Collaborate with functional teams and business stakeholders to design innovative solutions that leverage automation, analytics, and modern SAP frameworks
Stay ahead of technology trends (AI/ML, RPA, SAP BTP, intelligent warehousing) and propose forward-looking enhancements that add value

Skills and Qualifications
5+ years of professional SAP ABAP development experience
Strong hands-on expertise in EWM ABAP (RF, qRFC, PPF, Warehouse Monitor, Adobe Forms)
Solid knowledge of ABAP on HANA, OO ABAP, oData, CDS, BADIs, and enhancements

Experience with ECC–EWM integration (master and transactional data)
Hands-on development experience in core ECC modules (SD, MM, FI)
Nice to Have (SAP TM Exposure)
Development experience with SAP TM 9.3 or higher
Familiarity with BOPF, BRF+, PPF, Output Management

Experience with FPM, POWL, FBI, and TM enhancements (Freight Units, Freight Orders, Transportation Cockpit, VSR optimizer)
Exposure to Fiori apps, APIs, CDS views, and SAP BTP integration

Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or foreign equivalent)
Minimum of 5 years of SAP ABAP development experience is required

This is an offshore role with at least 6 hours overlap with EST (8 AM–4 PM).
