Dev Ops Intern

Role Overview
We are looking for a Dev Ops Intern who is eager to learn how modern software is built, tested, and deployed s role is ideal for students or early-career engineers who want real-world experience with CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms, and Kubernetes.
You will work closely with senior Dev Ops and platform engineers and gain hands-on exposure to automation, cloud infrastructure, and containerized applications.

What You'll Learn & Work On
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines as code
• Work with Jenkins pipelines and Git Hub Actions workflows
• Understand how code moves from Git Hub → CI → Cloud → Kubernetes
• Deploy applications using Docker and Kubernetes
• Learn basics of AWS and Azure cloud services
• Assist in setting up Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Monitor applications and understand logs and alerts
• Follow Dev Ops best practices for security and reliability

Responsibilities
• Assist in building and maintaining Jenkins pipelines
• Help create Git Hub Actions workflows for build and deployment
• Write and maintain YAML/Groovy pipeline configurations
• Support deployments to Kubernetes clusters
• Help manage cloud resources on AWS and Azure
• Document CI/CD workflows and deployment steps
• Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot build and deployment issues

Required Skills (Basic / Learning Level)
• Understanding of Git and Git Hub
• Basic knowledge of CI/CD concepts
• Familiarity with Jenkins or Git Hub Actions (projects/coursework is fine)
• Basic Linux command-line knowledge
• Understanding of containers (Docker basics)
• Willingness to learn AWS, Azure, and Kubernetes

• Exposure to Kubernetes (minikube, kind, or EKS/AKS)
• Basic knowledge of Terraform or Cloud Formation
• Any personal or academic Dev Ops project
• Understanding of YAML files
• Scripting basics (Bash / Python)
