Job Purpose
Acumen is seeking to appoint an ambitious, target-oriented team player to engage with our
client university and work closely with the senior South Asia team to enhance their capacity to
engage internationally and strengthen their marketing and branding within the Indian higher
education market.
The candidate should be able to support and strengthen the client group of U.S. institutions by
building associations and partnerships in India, implementing the India student partnership
strategy, and advancing the goal of significantly increasing student interest from the region.
The focus of this position is to engage with prospective students and effectively communicate the
U.S. university's unique selling points (USPs). This includes working with prospective and current
students, as well as key stakeholders such as Indian high schools, alumni, government bodies,
and institutions for transnational education (TNE) and partnerships.
The postholder will also develop and maintain new relationships within the education ecosystem
across India, support promotional campaigns and events, and work in collaboration with senior
team members.
The role involves domestic travel and participation in online events. Flexibility to work on
weekends and evenings is essential. Since the candidate will work remotely with the U.S.
-based
client group and advisers across time zones, they must be highly organised, self-motivated, and
comfortable working independently.
This is a full-time role based in Delhi.
Main Responsibilities
Enhance the client university group's capacity to engage internationally and expand its
footprint in India.
Support the U.S. university's international office with marketing, outreach activities,
database management, and other initiatives.
Participate in outreach events (online and in person) for prospective students, parents,
and counsellors.
Assist in identifying opportunities to increase brand visibility, develop marketing strategies,
and implement institutional engagement plans in the region.
Provide timely, accurate information to students and education agents.
Offer counselling and follow-up support regarding offers, documents, and other admission
matters via phone, email, and in person.
Ensure high-quality customer service by promptly addressing enquiries from students and
parents and following up to build the applicant database.
Maintain accurate records and data as per policy requirements.
Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the education sector.
Represent the university at educational fairs, conferences, webinars, and other
promotional events.
Advise on recruitment opportunities and potential partnerships.
Manage social media activities and online training as required.
Support the organisation of events and sessions; assist with localised content, promotions,
and database updates.
Conduct post-activity follow-ups, prepare and submit reports to the client.
Coordinate with internal teams for administrative and logistical matters.
Conduct market research, gather intelligence, and support data management,
presentations, and events.
Monitor project budgets and expenses.
Stay informed about market developments and stakeholder updates.
Arrange venues, travel, and accommodation for client representatives.
