Role Overview :  Lead the design and implementation of FLN interventions at CSF, including instructional resource development, project execution, stakeholder management, and field implementation to improve early-grade literacy and numeracy outcomes.

Key Responsibilities   Instructional Resource Design
Develop structured pedagogy resources such as learning outcome frameworks, lesson plans, worksheets, textbooks, and assessments.
Ensure content is engaging, pedagogically sound, and aligned with NIPUN Bharat, NCERT/SCERT frameworks, and global best practices.
Test and iterate prototypes in schools with teachers and mentors.
Project Execution and Stakeholder Management
Own projects end-to-end from planning and tracking to execution.
Manage internal teams, allocate resources, and resolve bottlenecks.
Communicate proactively with internal and external stakeholders.
Field Implementation and Teacher Support
Lead on-the-ground execution to ensure effective use of instructional materials in classrooms.
Analyze student assessment and classroom observation data to design support solutions such as coaching, micro-training, instructional explainers, and remedial programs.
Strengthen CSF field teams through training, joint school visits, and coaching.
Required Experience and Skills   Educational Expertise and Pedagogical Knowledge
6-10 years of experience in FLN teaching, curriculum design, and teacher training with a leading educational organization focused on school improvement p understanding of early-grade literacy and numeracy approaches, including Science of Learning, Balanced Literacy, and Concrete-Pictorial-Abstract (C-P-A) Numeracy.
Proven ability to develop comprehensive structured pedagogy materials including curriculum sequences, lesson plans, workbooks, assessments, and teacher training modules.
Implementation and Coaching Abilities
Experience delivering model lessons, coaching teachers, and facilitating effective training sessions.
Skilled in using assessment and teaching data to improve instructional practices and student outcomes.
Willingness to travel extensively (10-12 days per month) to state capitals and remote districts.
Project and People Management Skills
Strong project management capabilities to deliver complex projects on tight timelines with clear goals and quality outcomes.
Experience leading teams of 3-4 members through recruiting, training, and performance management.
Exceptional ability to build trust, collaborate, and influence diverse partners including government officials and technical experts.
Personal Attributes    High agency and self-starting ability to drive initiatives, work around constraints, tolerate ambiguity, and advance work agendas.
Bilingual proficiency in English and Hindi with persuasive communication and presentation skills across multiple audiences.
