Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in New Delhi for an Astronomy Educator. The role involves delivering interactive and engaging astronomy education sessions, planning and conducting innovative lessons for students of various age groups, setting up and operating portable planetariums, and utilizing hands-on tools like DIY astronomy kits. The educator will also participate in the development of educational content, conduct training, and inspire students about astronomy and space science through immersive experiences.
Qualifications
Experience in Lesson Planning and creating engaging and innovative educational content
Strong background in Education and Communication, with clarity in relaying complex information
Proficiency in Teaching and delivering interactive workshops and sessions
Expertise in Training and guiding students effectively in practical learning environments
Passion for astronomy and space science, with the ability to inspire and engage an audience
Bachelor's degree in Education, Astronomy, Science, or a related field
Flexibility with working on-site and availability for immediate joining
