STEM & PBL Trainer Role Summary The STEM & PBL Trainer will be responsible for delivering experiential, hands-on learning sessions in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics through Project-Based Learning (PBL) methodologies. The trainer will inspire students to think critically, solve real-world problems, and develop innovation-driven mindsets.
Success in this role means creating highly engaging classroom experiences, ensuring measurable learning outcomes, and enabling students to apply conceptual knowledge through practical implementation. The trainer plays a vital role in strengthening the organization's mission of transforming traditional education into experiential and skill-based learning.
This position directly contributes to the organization's vision of building future-ready learners equipped with 21st-century skills such as critical thinking, collaboration, creativity, and problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver structured STEM and PBL sessions aligned with curriculum objectives.
Facilitate hands-on activities, experiments, design challenges, and innovation-based projects.
Simplify complex science and mathematics concepts into engaging practical applications.
Guide students in ideation, prototyping, testing, and presenting their projects.
Assess student progress through observations, rubrics, and competency-based evaluations.
Maintain classroom discipline while fostering an open, inclusive, and collaborative learning environment.
Coordinate with school faculty and internal academic teams for smooth execution of sessions.
Manage STEM kits, lab materials, and technical resources responsibly.
Participate in training programs and continuously upgrade knowledge in emerging STEM tools and methodologies.
Encourage participation in competitions, exhibitions, and innovation showcases.
Qualifications Education Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field.
TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher) from a science or Mathematics background preferred.
Experience 1–5 years of teaching or training experience in Science/Math/STEM.
Experience in conducting hands-on or activity-based learning sessions preferred.
Freshers with strong STEM inclination and practical skills may also apply.
Skills Strong conceptual understanding of Science and Mathematics.
Ability to conduct experiential and project-based sessions confidently.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Classroom management and student engagement ability.
Creative thinking and problem-solving mindset.
Basic technical familiarity with STEM tools (e.g., robotics kits, 3D pens, basic electronics, etc.) preferred.
Willingness to travel to partner schools if required.
Certifications (Optional but Preferred)
B.Ed. or equivalent teaching certification.
STEM, Robotics, Coding, or Design Thinking certifications.
Training in Project-Based Learning methodologies.
