Assess students' physical abilities, motor skills, and fitness levels
Design individualized and group activities to improve strength, coordination, balance, and endurance
Modify games, sports, and exercises to meet diverse physical and developmental needs
Promote physical fitness, healthy lifestyle habits, and social interaction
Ensure a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
Collaborate with special educators, therapists, and support staff
Monitor student progress and maintain records and reports
Use adaptive equipment and assistive devices as required
Follow school policies, safety guidelines, and professional standards
Requirements
Qualification
B.PEd/M.PEd
Training or certification in special education or adapted physical activity (preferred)
Experience working with children with special needs
Knowledge of adapted physical education techniques and safety practices
Ability to modify activities to suit diverse physical and developmental abilities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Patient, empathetic, and child-centered approach
Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support staff
Good classroom and behavior management skills
Physically fit and capable of demonstrating activities
Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development
