Consultant Radiologist (part-time, on-site)
Role & Responsibilities
Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound (USG) examinations and transthoracic echocardiography during the assigned 09:00–18:00 on-site shift at GK-1.
Execute ultrasound-guided core and fine-needle biopsies with accurate targeting, documentation, and post-procedure care; participate in minor interventional procedures as required.
Undertake training for MRI/US fusion biopsy techniques (training provided) and apply fusion-guidance protocols under supervision until competent.
Produce clear, timely radiology reports and communicate critical findings to referring clinicians to support patient management.
Maintain imaging quality and safety: verify equipment readiness, adhere to infection control, and ensure accurate DICOM/PACS archiving.
Contribute to quality assurance, case reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives within the imaging team.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
MD/DNB in Radiology or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Diagnostic Radiology.
Registration with the relevant Indian medical council and valid license to practice.
Proven competence in diagnostic ultrasound (USG) and ultrasound-guided biopsy procedures.
Hands-on experience with PACS and DICOM-based reporting workflows.
Ability to work on-site at GK-1, 09:00–18:00 (2-hour daily slot) with reliable punctuality.
Willingness to attend in-house training for fusion biopsy and adopt standardised protocols.
Preferred
Experience with MRI/US fusion-guided biopsy systems and workflow integration.
Prior experience in ambulatory imaging centres or outpatient diagnostics.
Formal training or fellowship in ultrasound or interventional radiology.
