The platform will provide advisory services across governance, succession, capital structuring, investments, and institutionalization of family enterprises. This role sits at the front line of this new venture and is critical in shaping first impressions, trust, and day-to-day client experience in a high-discretion, relationship-driven environment.
Job Summary
The Home Governance cum Personal Secretary plays a vital role in maintaining the smooth operation of a household. This position involves supervising staff, organizing events, managing budgets, and attending to the day-to-day needs of the household. The ideal candidate is efficient, organized, and possesses strong leadership and communication skills.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Staff Supervision and Coordination :
Manage, train, schedule, and supervise all domestic staff (e.g., housekeepers, chefs, gardeners, nannies, security personnel), resolving conflicts and ensuring high standards are met.
Property Maintenance and Management :
Oversee the upkeep of the home and its systems (AC, plumbing, security, etc.), coordinating with external vendors and contractors for repairs, renovations, and maintenance.
Financial and Administrative Management :
Develop and maintain household budgets, track expenses, handle bill payments, manage household inventories and procurement, and maintain confidential records.
Scheduling and Event Planning :
Coordinate family calendars, schedule appointments, manage travel arrangements, and plan/organize household events, parties, and gatherings.
General Household Operations :
Ensure the residence is clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times, managing household supplies and groceries.
Liaison Duties :
Act as the primary point of communication between the family and staff, vendors, and service providers.
Personal Secretary to the Designated Partner:
Manage the personal calendar, appointments, travel plans, and reminders
Handle personal correspondence, calls, emails, and messages with discretion
Coordinate personal meetings, family commitments, and social engagements
Maintain personal records, documents, and confidential files
Act as the primary point of contact between the employer and personal/professional stakeholders
Required skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred (any discipline)
Proven experience in household management, hospitality, or a related field, preferably within a private household or luxury service setting.
Languages:
English, Tamil and Hindi, if any is an additional advantage
