Seasonal Requirement: Saturdays working during tax season (Feb–Apr and Aug–Oct)

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior – US Tax & Assurance with a minimum of 7 years of experience in US tax compliance and assurance engagements .
The ideal candidate will oversee tax preparation and review processes, supervise staff, support assurance engagements, ensure compliance with US tax regulations, and maintain high-quality work papers and engagement documentation.
This role requires strong technical expertise in US taxation along with experience support ing financial statement compilation and review engagements.
Key Responsibilities:
Tax Responsibilities:
• Review US business tax returns, including – Form 1065, 1120, 1120S
• Review tax returns prepared using Ultra Tax
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with IRS regulations and firm standards
• Identify tax planning opportunities and potential compliance risks
• Conduct technical research on US tax matters
Assurance Responsibilities:
• Support compilation and review engagements by preparing and reviewing financial statements, trial balance tie-outs, and engagement work papers using Case Ware
• Perform analytical review and reconciliation of key balance sheet accounts including cash, receivables, payables, payroll, leases, and debt balances
• Prepare and review assurance work papers and schedules , including AR aging and subsequent receipts analysis, fixed asset roll-forwards, depreciation reconciliation, and revenue disclosures (ASC 606)
• Ensure proper documentation, supporting evidence linkage, and accuracy of engagement files in accordance with firm standards
Senior Responsibilities
• Ensure adherence to engagement timelines and quality standards
• Provide technical guidance and training to team members
• Assist in engagement planning and workflow management
Required Qualifications:
Experience:
• Minimum 7 years of experience in US Taxation and Assurance
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CA, CPA (US), EA, or equivalent qualification preferred
Technical
Skills:
• Strong hands-on experience with:
Ultra Tax
Case Ware
Microsoft Excel – advanced proficiency required
• Strong understanding of US tax compliance and accounting principles
• Experience reviewing financial statements and assurance work papers
Soft Skills
• Strong Team management abilities
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
