The quantum world is small but growing. We are a steadily-growing scale-up with an ever-expanding worldwide customer base. We provide our photon detection systems to a wide range of customers and research institutes.

We are looking for a Marketing Engineer who will create marketing content, attend scientific fairs and conferences, give presentations, and carry out online marketing activities in order to establish our network and to promote Single Quantum. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of brand marketing, digital marketing strategies, and basic graphic design.

What You Will Be Doing

Support the Marketing and Business Development Team in planning, developing, and executing marketing campaigns;
Monitor consumer trends, gather feedback, and assess customer satisfaction;
Planning and attending conferences, workshops and trade shows;
Develop creative content across various platforms, including printed materials and gadgets, as well as visuals and videos;
Assist in preparing and launching marketing campaigns, including Google Ads and other digital channels;
Conduct competitive market analysis to uncover new opportunities;
Collect and analyse metrics to gauge the success of marketing efforts.

Your Profile And Requirements

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in the field of applied physics, optics, photonics or another relevant subject;
Experience in (product) marketing;
Creativity and curiosity;
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;
Excellent communication skills;
Self-motivated and has a proactive attitude;
Able and willing to travel;
Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Canva.

The following are a plus

Good knowledge of and/or working experience with optics and quantum technology;
Knowledge of Google Ads;
Familiarity with Mailchimp or other email marketing platforms;
Innovative mindset and problem-solving skills.
