We’re looking for a Design Sales Consultant who combines strong sales acumen with a creative eye. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a background in design, furniture, or soft goods who thrives on relationship-building and delivering top-tier service.

Location:

Hockessin, DE 19707

• Compensation: $75, projected earnings in Year 1
• PTO: 5 days (prorated first year) + 6 paid holidays
• Health Reimbursement:
  Stipend for health insurance
• Company Vehicle available for client appointments
• Schedule:
  
  M, T, F: 10AM–5PM;
  Wed & Thur: until 10AM-7PM; occasional Saturdays

• Meet with clients in the showroom to understand their style, needs, and project goals
• Conduct in-home visits for measurements and product recommendations
• Generate leads and follow up to nurture long-term relationships
• Collaborate with builders and designers on custom window treatment and home décor solutions
• Present, price, and close sales with confidence and professionalism
• Oversee order details and hand off to the administrative team for fulfillment
• Attend installations for key projects to ensure client satisfaction

• Experienced in interior design, preferably niches such as textile fabrication, window treatments, custom closets, or custom cabinetry, and more- with an emphasis on and an interest in sales.
• Polished, articulate, and able to communicate eloquently
• Detail-oriented with strong math and spatial skills
• Tech-savvy and comfortable working with CRM systems and digital tools
• Organized, dependable, and proactive in managing projects
• Creative eye for design and coordination
