CASHIER/FOOD SERVICE WORKER (FULL TIME) – Restaurant Associates

  Full‑time, Monday‑Friday, hours may vary (details upon interview)
• Pay Range: $16.00–$18.00 per hour
• Requirements:

Operates the POS system, assists the chef, prepares coffee, and maintains cleanliness at cashier & coffee stations.

• Prepares foods such as meats, vegetables, baked goods, desserts, and catering orders.
• Performs cashier duties using the POS system.
• Maintains cleanliness by cleaning duties, removing trash to designated areas.
• Provides service in all retail areas, including cashiering and line serving.
• Handles cash accurately, prepares receipts, makes deposits at shift end.
• Inventories and restocks supplies and food products.
• Sets up serving line, monitors temperatures, notifies cooks if temperatures out of range.
• Serves hot and cold items to customers.
• Prepares daily items for sale.
• Rotates refrigerator stock using first‑in, first‑out.
• Stocks pantries per par levels, records replenishment on floor stock form, records refrigerator temps.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Use of medium‑weight cut gloves when handling knives, peelers, choppers, mandolins, or cleaning a slicer.
• Use of oven mitts, fryer gloves or steamer gloves when handling hot pans from ovens, warmers, or steam tables.
• Use of slip‑resistant shoes and proper lifting techniques.
