The primary responsibility of the Quality Assurance Supervisor is to ensure that all production processes are monitored for quality policies and procedures, documented, and results are communicated to production.

• Support and ensure that Allen Harim’s vision, mission, values policies are adhered to.
• Responsible for the safety and health of employees, which includes but is not limited to safety and health awareness and training, accident prevention and incident investigations, and safe work practices.
• Maintain and train QA and HACCP technicians to ensure that all quality issues are covered.
• Ensure that QA Technicians are assigned to monitor production processes and products for quality factors.
• Establish effective communications between QA and other departments, including U.S.D.A.
• Maintain complete and accurate records as required.
• Prepare customer samples as requested and monitor the product being produced for new customers.
• Monitor rework to ensure that product is processed in a timely manner, packaged properly and in good condition.
• Manage sanitation monitoring beginning at 03:30

• Prepare all reports as required by QA Manager.
• Promote a “Quality” attitude throughout the processing environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience

Knowledge/Skills

• College Degree plus one year Quality Assurance experience OR High School Diploma plus three years Quality Assurance experience (Poultry or Food Industry experience preferred).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Must become HACCP certified.
• Knowledge of computers and good organizational skills.
• Promote a Quality attitude.

Listnecessarily the supervisory responsibilities this position must perform; include the department or position titles responsible for and the level of authority exercised in performing the responsibilities.

• Handles all routine situations independently.
• Refers non-routine situations to the QA Manager.
• Supervise QA and HACCP Technicians on shift.
