The Quality Technician is responsible for ensuring product compliance through evaluation, testing, and verification prior to release. This role enhances operational quality capability and ownership through training, coaching, and daily support of production teams, while also establishing and sustaining the Quality Management System (QMS) through functional system ownership. The Quality Technician plays a key role in maintaining GMP compliance, supporting audits, and driving continuous improvement in quality, efficiency, and housekeeping.

• Perform product, package, and material testing as prescribed to verify conformance to specifications.
• Ensure the Quality Laboratory meets and maintains GMP standards.
• Assemble, review, and approve Device History Records and other required lab documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with good documentation practices.
• Test product performance related to current and future business needs, customer complaints, product holds, and competitor benchmarking according to approved procedures.
• Conduct calibration verifications using approved procedures and documentation.
• Execute daily product release processes.
• Perform daily review and reconciliation of finished goods prior to shipment.
• Provide backup support to the Materials Quality Coordinator as required.

• Provide real-time feedback to production crews on inspection techniques and quality standards.
• Assist production technicians with understanding and applying product specifications.
• Train, coach, and support operators on inspection methods, Quality Windows, and GMP compliance.
• Serve as the first point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving Quality Window issues.
• Support production teams during Quality Holds to ensure accurate identification, segregation, and removal of nonconforming product.
• Positively enforce and support company policies, procedures, and work practices.
• Act as a GMP expert, champion, inspector, and trainer within the operation.

• Own and maintain at least one functional quality system to drive site-level QMS compliance.
• Provide process updates, training, and ongoing health checks for assigned quality systems.
• Support internal and external audits related to assigned quality systems.

Influence plant performance by supporting improvements in scrap reduction, product quality, operational efficiency, and housekeeping standards.
