Well established manufacturing client is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join their growing team!

Salary $30 - $40 per hour

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Permanent Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the operational efficiency of our manufacturing processes. You will be tasked with the maintenance and repair of industrial machinery and equipment, with a focus on minimizing downtime and enhancing productivity. This position offers a great opportunity for a seasoned professional who is passionate about maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair, and who thrives in a fast-paced, innovative manufacturing environment.

• Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues and plan corrective actions.
• Execute preventive maintenance tasks to minimize equipment failure and downtime.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and breakdowns, and perform necessary repairs swiftly and efficiently.
• Work closely with the manufacturing team to understand their equipment needs and ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance records.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Collaborate with other departments and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide technical guidance and training to less experienced staff.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, techniques, and technologies.

• High school diploma or equivalent required;
  Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a technical field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a maintenance role in a manufacturing setting.
• Proven expertise with metals, equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Solid technical understanding of manufacturing machinery and systems.
• Excellent mechanical skills, with the ability to work with a variety of tools and equipment.
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs and procedures.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
• Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Must be able to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively.
• Must be able to lift heavy equipment and work in physically demanding conditions.
• Willingness to work in shifts and be on call for emergencies.
