Medication Aide – Part-time – Willow Brook Village – Delaware, Ohio

Willow Brook Village is seeking a part-time medication aide. Part-time hours working 7p-11p (every other Friday, Thursday and Wednesday, and every Monday and Tuesday) in our assisted living care center.

The medication aide will be an essential part of the assisted living nursing team. She or he will work closely with the nursing staff by administering daily medication including regular reporting to nursing staff, record keeping and documentation, stocking of medication cart, and taking vitals. In addition, the medication aide will serve as a nurse aide performing STNA or PCA (personal care attendant) direct care duties.

A helpful attitude and strong communication skills are imperative for this vital role.

To be eligible for this position, candidates must have STNA (State-tested Nursing Assistant)
certification with Ohio Certification
, and an active Ohio medication aide certification
, experience in the health care industry or as a medication aide, and a strong understanding of medical and pharmacological terminology.
