Under the supervision of the Housing Supervisor, the Patient Care Assistant (PCA) will assist in maintaining the therapeutic environment and safety of the housing unit.
The PCA will work in collaboration with both the medical and clinical staff in providing the most effective and supportive treatment to all clients admitted onto the housing unit. This position is included in a bargaining unit represented by SEIU.
- Assist in maintaining a therapeutic environment and safety within the housing unit.
- Collaborate with medical and clinical staff to provide effective and supportive treatment to clients admitted to the housing unit.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience with a 12 Step Program or comparable experience.
- Qualified Mental Health Specialist (QMHS) qualification beneficial.
- Certified Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant (CDCA) preferred.
- Certified Peer Recovery Support (APS) preferred.
- Salary commensurate with experience.
