Nature of Work, Essential Functions & KSA's
Under the immediate supervision of the Camp Director, and the general supervision of the Recreation Coordinator and Superintendent, the Assistant Camp Director is the go-to person for all things at Camp Mingo for the City of Delaware. Your job will include many responsibilities, all with the goal of creating a memorable and meaningful camp experience for your campers. As an Assistant Director, you have oversight of camp programs and will enjoy infusing your own creativity and talents into the weekly schedule.

- Leadership principles

- Conflict resolution
- Communication
- Public speaking
- CPR/AED
- Team support
- Age-appropriate activity creation and planning
- Physical stamina to participate in camp activities
- Prioritization of camper health, safety, and well-being
- Supervision of swim activities within the water
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- CPR/First Aid certification required
- Possession of a valid Ohio Driver License
