Automotive Service Technician​/Mechanic

Automotive Service Technician - Air Conditioned Shop! Byers Auto is growing and seeking a new automotive technician to join our Service Center. We offer a generously paid Service Technician Apprenticeship program with practical hands-on experience and career growth opportunities.

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership procedures.
• Assist service advisor in test driving vehicles, and testing components and systems; learn how to use diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, climate control, and newer model training.
• Communicate directly with the service advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed.
• Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
• Take ASE Certification Assessment.

• ASE certifications are ideal.
• Strong automotive background.
• Strong teamwork skills.
• Willing to submit to a drug screen and background check.
• Must have clean and valid driver’s license.
