Rn Staff Educator

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and conduct new hire orientation sessions for all new nursing/general employees.
• Perform pre-employment drug testing, PPD testing, both pre-employment and annual. Maintain records for all employees.
• Maintain training programs for the nursing department and identifies areas of interest for presentations.
• Plan, schedule and post monthly calendar of education programs in a timely manner.
• Track licensing/certification of active staff and follow up to ensure licensing/certification stay active by ensuring CEU's are complete.
• Monday through Friday, with the option of a flexible schedule/hours in a management role.
• On call rotation.

Qualifications:

• Must have an active RN license, Delaware preferred, but will assist with the process of receiving a Delaware license. Delaware is a compact license state.
• Two years professional nursing experience, prior experience as an Educator a plus.
• Possesses effective communication and problem solving skills.
