Will support the Vision, Mission, and Values of the Organization. The qualified candidate must be able to direct and assign employees as needed to ensure all aspects of quality product.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Supports Allen Harim’s mission, vision and values
- Can communicate with other associates at all levels and maintain a good attendance record
- Reports team member performance records to the Management team
- Ensures the department is in compliance with GMP, HACCP, SSOP, and USDA standards
- Assists in training all associates
- Ensures team members properly wear PPE and understand safety procedures
- Sets daily objectives and communicates them to their team
- Manages paperwork relating to the department
- Supervises cleanup work during breaks and between shifts to meet USDA and state requirements
- Acts as Supervisor when needed
- Performs all other related duties as assigned
- Available for Saturdays

- High School Diploma with at least four years of poultry experience
- Knowledge of Poultry Plant or Food production
- PC skills required (MS Office)
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills preferred
- High degree of attention to detail
- Excellent communications skills; frequent communication required with management and staff
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions consistently with essential job functions
- Must enter all areas of the plant and offices
- Must climb and crawl in confined spaces
- Must communicate with all levels of employees, outside vendors, and government agencies
The employee is regularly required to talk and hear, stand and walk for long periods, use hands and fingers, bend, sit, and lift up to 40 lbs. The job operates in a poultry plant environment that can be wet, hot, cold, noisy, and odorous.
